CARVED SIGNS (Sandblasted or Routed)

Your image and how it’s portrayed is vital in business! While carved signs may be more expensive than vinyl sticker solutions, a carved sign will likely last for decades! On the other hand, an average vinyl sign has an outdoor life expectancy of only 5 years or less.

Looking for development directional signs, residential entrance signs, lobby or reception displays, business park tenant signs, golf course signage, or even church reader boards? At Prodigy Lighting & Sign, we can provide a signage solution that will transcend your expectations and leave a lasting impression on your customers.

POPULAR CARVED SIGN MATERIALS

Cedar – Cedar is a preferred sign-building material due to the wood’s ability to resist rot and bugs. However, despite its resistant properties, cedar is natural, and no matter how carefully fabricated, wood is still subject to decay eventually.

HDU (High Density Urethane) – HDU has quickly become the best-selling material option for carved signs today. Why? Immune to insects and rot and uninfluenced by temperature changes, HDU solves the problems that may occur when using cedar. HDU is also readily available, whereas cedar has become more difficult to come by (and more expensive). HDU is also a very stable material that carves easily and takes to painting wonderfully. When painted, your customers won’t know the difference between wood or HDU.
